If you Love the People of the World, then you Love their Dolls

I can't think of a culture that does not have dolls, statues, idols, fetishes, something figural.  I will open this blog in English, and dedicate it to Anne Rice, once an avid doll collector, who features dolls in her books often.  This quote is from Taltos:

When you loved dolls and studied them, you started to love all kinds of people too, because you saw the virtue in their expressions, how carefully they had been sculpted, the parts contrived to create the triumph of this or that remarkable face.
